    Vault Features
Vault doors are easily installed and can be designed to use a concealed key pad on a wall for additional security. To avoid burglary or just to keep children away from valuables, vault doors can secure entire rooms, if necessary.

ProSteel vaults have become virtually invisible in a room because the vault door can be installed in an existing doorway and has hidden hinges, eliminating the need to match hardware to other doors. The electronic key pad can be installed up to 8 feet away and hidden behind a hanging picture or other decoration. Turn a closet or entire room into a secure vault, securing valuables from theft.

Safe deposit boxes at banks are fine, but many people feel more secure having a personal safe -- either at home or in an office. Transporting valuable items between the bank and where you need them is a risk and is very inconvenient -- particularly if the bank is closed.

It is important that originals and copies of certain documents remain BOTH in a safe and a safe deposit box, including:

    • birth, marriage and death certificates
    • deeds, titles
    • stock certificates, bonds
    • insurance photographs of your home and other property
    • wills, trusts, power of attorney/guardianship documents
    • insurance information

Other items that can be kept safely in your home or office could include:

    • jewelry
    • coin or stamp collections
    • self defense weapons ( away from children )
    • art or antiques
    • family photographs
    • cash/blank checks/credit cards

    ProSteel Vault Features

    A. Omni Barrier and Locking Handle Shear Pin:
This protection system reinforces the case with a hardened plate located in the front of the main lock which provides a deterrent against lock damage. The steel plate located behind the lock provides the needed support. Together these steel plates form a barrier that gives the main lock its anti-theft security.

    B. Electronic Remote Keyless Entry:
A push button key pad allows you to unlock your safe door easily. Our alpha numeric key gives one million possible word or number combinations. Your remote keyless entry can be mounted up to eight feet from door and is featured on models SRV1 and SRV6.

    C. Dial:
The combination lock is a heavy-duty bank type U.L.Group II lock with an internal relocker and a 5-year limited warranty.

    D. Anti-Drill Deflector Plate:
This case-hardened anti-drill plate is usually not included in other brands due to expense, but it is included in our Model 6028. ProSteel believes it's worth it, for your protection and security.

    E. Duo Formed:
The composite construction of this door is unmatched in the industry. Models SRV1, SRV6 and SCV1 are made up of an exterior steel plate, interior plate, and bolt lock shroud. The exterior steel plate, interior plate and bolt lock shroud are fused together forming a one-piece structure. With a 1 5/16" thick door frame, these vault doors are highly pry resistant and exceed UL standards.

    F. Uni- Force System:
This heavy-duty, cam-actuated mechanism prevents outside pressure from damaging the lock.

    G. Bolts:
Chrome plated steel bolts measuring up to 1 1/4" in diameter, guard the door of ProSteel's safes. No plastic is used in our safes.
